Pass Plus Course - Beyond The Driving Test
Choosing to take part in the Pass Plus Scheme will show that you wish to further develop the attitudes and skills for 'Safe Driving For Life'.
The Pass Plus Scheme is a training programme for new drivers. The aim is to improve your driving skills and make you a safer driver. It also may lead to cheaper insurance discounts.
The scheme has been developed by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), with the help of the motor insurance industry and driving instruction industries, to develop your skills and knowledge in areas where you may have limited experience.
To indicate the effectiveness of this scheme, a previous survey of L test candidates carried out by ORC International showed that, from those who had undertaken the Pass Plus,
-
93% felt more confident on the road
-
89% considered that their driving skills had improved
as a result of taking the course.

Pass Pluss will benefit you by -:
-
enabling you to gain quality driving experience
-
helping you become a more skilful driver
-
teaching you how to develop a Positive Driving style which is both enjoyable and safe
-
reducing your risk of being involved in a road crash
-
saving you money on your car insurance premiums. *
Pass Plus consists of a minimum of six hours' training and the emphasis is on developing your practical driving skills.
Alternatively, you will be assessed throughout; you must cover all the modules to complete the training.
