Pwllheli Test Routes

 

Whilst, with the introduction of the Independent Driving aspect of the test, the routes shown are not guaranteed you are likely to travel some, if not all, of the roads shown. The Examiner may change the route slightly on the day if road conditions would prevent the test from being performed effectively or on time but, given that you are able to drive (after all, you are submitting yourself for test), you should be able to accommodate slight variations. Remember, keep calm, read the road and the traffic conditions - looking as far ahead as possible, check all road signs and plan your actions effectively.

 

On your practical driving test you will be required to -

 

• undergo an eyesight test,

• answer two Show Me/Tell Me questions,

• drive for approximately 40 minutes which will include,

 

1. perform one reverse manoeuvre,

2. possibly do a controlled stop,

3. 10 minutes of independent driving.
